Auspicious

This morning as I got off the train, I saw the beautiful Person of Ambiguous Gender again. For those of you who don't know the story, this person lives in my general area, and though she's definitely a genetic XY, she is also clearly someone I'd want to call 'she' or 'her', but also ambiguous enough that you couldn't really call her an MTF altogether. Very much in that space I'd like to get to. I've seen her around the neighborhood a couple of times.
Today, she was also getting off the train, dressed very much the same way I do when I go out to clubs, except she had clown makeup and a red nose on, and was walking an invisible dog. (those leash things with no dog attached)
I don't know what the occasion was, but I took it as a "thumbs-up" from the universe.

However, I was still too shy to approach her or even wave hello. It's still NYC. :)
