Jun. 30th, 2007 10:59 amYou will find as you get older and have a bit more of the "fish in water" taken out of you, that more and more of your questions shall find themselves resolved in the physical universe. And soon you will discover that that's the best place to ask the questions too.
Transformation of physical "stuff" from one form to another has the greatest power, such as engineering, visual/tactile art, costuming counts too if you put it together.
Next comes a permanent structural transformation of functional data/processes, such as writing a cookbook or a computer program, making music (though this kind of overlaps the first section, and live performance definitely counts as a first order act). And so on from physical to abstract.
the main thing in all of this is to take the raw material and put as much of yourself into it as possible. in this way you have engaged the universe's machinery and it will respond to you with a coefficient of adversity, and this will teach you the shape of things.
which... will allow you to do it even better next time!
