Sep. 24th, 2007 01:37 amA bunch of us had gotten bored of Temporary Autonomous Zones, so we found some land out in the forest and made a Permanent Autonomous Zone.
Every night there was a different theme of hedonistic excess. Loud, repetitive music, flashing lights and brightly colored structures, all kinds of promiscuous sex and crazy, sense-shattering drugs were the usual fare. We all took turns organizing, promoting, DJing, importing and exporting food and other supplies. Pretty soon all the organizing, promoting, DJing, importing and exporting, flashing lights, music, sex and drugs became a real drag so we started throwing underground gatherings where we would dress up in suits around a large table and discuss "Global repositioning" and "market share" and figure out how to sell our amusing "products" we came up with to more people in new ways. The authorities tried to shut us down, but we escaped to the city where we blended right in with everyone else. One day at a board meeting of the multi-national conglomerate we formed, one of our clients invited us to "this really cool place in the forest where they party all day every day". That ruined things for us really, so we all resigned and moved to Mexico, and produced porn movies involving fetishes that had only existed on the Internet up to that point.
