ubiquitous

sometimes 3 eyes is two too many.
but sometimes its just enough
to get out
without having to leave
the body behind you
compassion again
the balm that never fails
when used as directed
if you try to look at everything
you'll see nothing but yourself
reflected back at you,
distorted like a magic funhouse
even transparency casts a faint
glimmer of what's behind you.
but if you step back
and breathe
you'll see right through
