growing complex and subtle

I am truly against, in my heart, all forms of puritanical thinking
dissolution is not loss, but neither is asceticism
the roads are many, but it's the mileage that counts
the energy expended
and those who wish to put up roadblocks and restrict
the deep heart of our beloveds
are running in circles, they hate the open lines
fear of going, of new places
not a race track but a drag strip
is what we need more of
not to return to what was done but to make anew
and in so doing, to do what was done in a larger sense
which is to do something different
always moving, always reconstructing
and to do this, we need our raw materials back
deconstruction is how we get our building blocks
