Aug. 1st, 2008 03:34 pmWell, folks. I might be offline for a little while, at least in the evenings. I trust the virtual world to your hands, hehe. Don't blow the place up while I'm gone.
I'd like to apologize for crawling into a bit of a shell for a while, for hiding my light under a bushel, so to speak.
Even when I have been writing lately, it's been a bit of a mask, I haven't really been giving you The Stuff. Everyone goes through phases and such.
I've been very anxious about things going on in the meat world, and on top of that, I have, for the past couple of years, been having to re-learn to be myself. And indeed, in many ways, to learn to be myself for the first time. I am old, but a child at once. I can feel myself, in my accelerated development, starting to slouch toward a neo-adolescence psychically. But I am still definitely a caterpillar right now, carrying my cocoon around with me.
Going back over some stuff, though, I have a good feeling about the kind of moth I'll be when I get out.
I will continue to pop in from time to time with Reports From The Eastern Front, so don't worry too much. I'm actually about to upgrade a LOT of things in my non-virtual life, and as stressful and scary as it is, I am also optimistic and can see some light on the horizon. You all have been wonderful examples for me, and I eagerly await more dispatches from you all.
