I'm not going to give much of an opinion right now on the wholesale nationalization of the financial industry, because mostly it would just confuse people and/or piss them off and create debates that would confuse me/piss me off.
What I will say is that I look upon both the news and people's almost universal misinterpretation of it with glee, anticipating the end of a terrible and unworthy era in history.
I have a good feeling that what comes next will yield, if not a world-wide improvement, at least more and more places where one can escape the ubiquitous maw of centralized high finance.
