I am all for healthy debate of any and all issues. I am ready to defend any of my beliefs, and I have changed my opinion on things when confronted with stronger reasoning.
What I will not have is mockery and dismissal. If you want to snark on me or hate on me, I have a "sticky" post on my journal page where all comments are screened. If you want to say any damn thing you like there, that's fine.
But trolling usually has a secondary intention of stifling debate through intimidation. That will not happen on my LJ.
And it's one thing to hate on me. But if you start hating on other people commenting on my LJ, your comments will get screened or deleted.
As I said, I want people to feel like they can voice their opinion here. But attacking someone (even indirectly) isn't voicing an opinion, it's being tactical in order to control the terms of debate. That may be ok some places on this wild wild web, but not here.
