It's with a great deal of affection that I note T Beauchamp (one of the writers of the reposted letter to the editor) has been an internet acquaintance/friend for years.
I'm not privy to the depths of THE COMMUNITY or whatever, but yeah, the whole normalization is bullshit.
Still....hm, you know, I need to collect my thoughts on this, because something about it fucking pisses me off, too. I'll try to be respectful of journal and friendspace to not go off on it, plus I believe it'd be fruitless.
