ineffabelleSo my favorite uncle, my dad's younger brother, has slipped loose of this mortal coil.
He is only a collection of memories to us now, we who have surpassed his timeline.
No longer random, no longer filled with infinite possibles, he is all past.
Ugh. I wish I had the kind of drugs I'm still willing to take. But there's coffee and the consolation of this sharp abstraction,
which is what my mind tends to do when confronted with death.
