Dec. 13th, 2006 11:17 am1 - I'm back. That is to say, my brain is back in equilibrium, which has it's good and bad points of course...
2 - I now know which parts have permanently altered. Happy to report this is mostly for the better.
Corollary to these 2 points: When old lao said "the dao that can be spoken of is not the great dao" well, y'know... (gives lao the thumbs up)
I went to Coney Island yesterday for a job. There was just something ineffably wonderful about walking around there at night in the winter, with everything closed for the season. I went to the Original Nathans afterwards and had 2 hot dogs. Going to Coney Island always makes me happier than I was before I went there, or it always has so far.
