Softpaws FTW! Not only do your cats get to keep their sensitive clawtips, they have to walk around in really embarrassing colors for your amusement! n.n

Does your cat really have an issue with this?

She scratches occasionally, but totally "drive-by". I think at most she's left tiny tears on the slip cover when she'd lose her balances and dig in for a better grip. But ineffabelle's right, she's pretty much gentle and perfect.

I heard kittie brain gets dopamine when it scratches. Don't take away kittie's dopamine, either.

i agree

when i was like 10 years old, my best friend's dad sat me down and talked w/ me about it

like i have no idea why he chose to sit down and tell a ten-yr old about declawing being like cutting off cats' fingers or imply that if my cats were declawed it was my fault (i was ten!), but it made an impression lol

I would never declaw a cat. I do, however, have two cats that I adopted that came to me without claws. Is that okay?
