This was an interesting comment from an article about the Tiller murder:

"It has been so infuriating how every news outlet (not just Fox) had a headline "ABORTION DOCTOR Murdered". Tillman was a doctor who performed abortions among many other medical services."

This is VERY important to understand.  Just as how in news articles, some physicians are called "sex-change doctors"... the intent is to display these medical procedures as "marked", abnormal and worthy of tagging someone's entire identity with.

True, great point. I might have made that mistake as well in my post, but mostly to say, "THAT Tiller, not your friendly General Practitioner named Dr. Tiller."

FWIW, I've not seen "ABORTION DOCTOR Murdered" as much as referring to him as "Tillman." And AFAIK, he did primarily perform abortions. In the articles I've read, he says he saw it as a "personal mission" to be able to perform these, particularly in such a battleground state.

"Abortion Doctor" seems to fit, here.

But is it really a surprise to you that wee humans try and pigeonhole people as quickly as possible, sticking singular aspects that stick out the most as "Identity-tags" onto people.?!

That's what humans (your selves included) DO.

Even worse yet, most of the headlines I've read said Late-term Abortion Doctor Killed, "late-term abortion" is a anti-choice buzzword that is inaccurate about the procedure.
