Eisenhower. How can I miss a President who died ten years before I was born so damn much?

Some of the things he said were so fucking amazing and true. I think he only got away with it because he was a WWII hero.
Even then, he couldn't act on those words. Ever notice how every interesting president has a scummy insider vice president? That is no accident, IMO.
