On a hopefully not related note, if you're ever in the mood for something truly depressing, you can play the second half of Pink Floyd's The Wall first, and the first half second. Such that it starts with "Hey You" and ends with "Goodbye Cruel World".
It tells a very different, but equally coherent and much more disheartening story.

Date: 2009-07-13 11:11 pm (UTC)I was discussing "what video games can teach us" with a friend a while back, and we discussed that many games can improve hand/eye coordination and reflexes, playing RPGs improved one's patience for jumping through hoops and dealing with Bureaucracies.
I often think of this when playing RPGs &/or dealing with Bureaucracies.
