It's a great quote, and underscores what has been excised from American political discourse, ever since Woodrow Wilson demolished the IWW.

My brain can't quite grasp this, but then, I live in the land of Conservative elitism, where the liberals are the starving artists. They still manage a good show of Conservative populism, though. But it's all smoke and mirrors. Slaves are handy that way.

NY is pretty much the opposite of UT.
